Originally constructed in 1970, Abbey Hill Golf Club is a very pleasant parkland course laid out in loops of eight and ten holes. The terrain is undulating with mature trees and some spectacular backdrops: a particular feature is the Par 3 17th, which requires a carry over water. Abbey Hill Golf Clubs 18-hole golf course is a mature, challenging test of golf, which appeals to both the novice player and to the competitive low handicap player. The greens are fast and true whilst the fairways are lush and manicured. The Academy Par 3 golf course at Abbey Hill Golf Club was built and designed by Howard Swann in 1996. The 9-holecourse was built to full USGA specification and benefits from full irrigation.

 

 

Aylesbury Golf Centre

The 18-hole golf course at Aylesbury Golf Club is approximately 6,000 yards long, has a par of 71 and is set in peaceful open countryside with magnificent views of the Chiltern Hills. Aylesbury Park Golf Club

Just minutes by car from the centre of Aylesbury, this most challenging 18-hole golf course is located within the former grounds of the historic Hartwell Estate. Aylesbury Park Golf Club was established in 1995, a Martin Hawtree design. It combines parkland and inland links holes which are complimented by superb USGA specification greens.

 

 

Beaconsfield Golf Club

Beaconsfield Golf Club is owes its existence to Colonel William Baring Du Pre. In 1902 Colonel Du Pre founded the 9-hole Wilton Park Golf Club in the grounds of his estate. After the railway was built in 1906, it was decided to abandon the original course and build an 18-hole course all on new ground and to name it Beaconsfield Golf Club: an interesting, well-maintained golf course with each of the holes having different characteristics. Designed in 1913 by HS "Harry" Colt and it has many of his trademark features, in particular it is very well bunkered and has unusually large greens.

 

 

Buckingham Golf Club

According to hearsay, prior to 1914 golfers played on a 5-hole course, on or adjacent to the current site to the current Buckingham Golf Club which was established in 1914. Set in 130 acres of beautiful rolling Buckinghamshire countryside the 18-hole, 6,162 yards, par 71 parkland golf course at Buckingham Golf Club offers a fair but challenging test to golfers of all abilities. The Club's desire to offer the best possible golfing experience to its members and visitors was enhanced by the replacement of all 18 greens with new greens built to USGA specification, which opened for play in May 2005.

 

 

Buckinghamshire Golf Club

Buckinghamshire Golf Club's 18-hole golf course was created by the legendary John Jacobs O.B.E., former European Tour player, Ryder Cup Captain. Buckinghamshire Golf Club has played host to the highlight of The European PGA Seniors Tour, The Senior Tournament of Champions from 1996 - 2000 and The Andersen Consulting World Championship of Golf European Final in 1997. The Rivers Misbourne and Colne ensure that water comes into play on seven of the first twelve holes. One of the strengths of Buckinghamshire Golf Club is that the greens are 40 to 45 yards long, so simply altering the pin positions can change the character of the holes completely. Quite simply Buckinghamshire Golf Club is 18 holes of great golf and a spectacular clubhouse to boot.

 

 

Chartridge Park Golf Club

Chiltern Forest Golf Club

'The Jewel in the Chilterns' that's Chiltern Forest Golf Club which nestles in the Chiltern Hills on the edge of Wendover Woods. The 18-hole golf course is challenging for all golfers and boasts some of the finest views in Buckinghamshire. Although Chiltern Forest Golf Club is only 5,760 yards long off the white tees, don't be fooled! It plays every yard of that due to the hilly nature of the golf course.

 

 

Denham Golf Club

Denham Golf Club is a traditional private members' club which has been in existence since 1910. The 18-hole golf course was designed and constructed in 1911 by Harry Colt, one of the most prolific of golf course designers and to this day its many special qualities reflect much of this tradition. Being situated on a gravel subsoil the course possesses good draining characteristics.

 

 

Ellesborough Golf Club

Farnham Park Golf Club

Farnham Park Golf Course was opened in 1975 and Farnham Park Golf Club was formed in 1977. In 1982 the South Bucks District Council purchased more land and developed an eighteen hole golf course. Farnham Park Golf Club hosts a fine 18-hole parkland golf course with many established trees and ditches crossing the fairways.

 

 

Flackwell Heath Golf Club

Flackwell Heath Golf Club is situated between Beaconsfield and High Wycombe. The challenging 18-hole golf course on wooded heath land is maintained in superb condition. The par 71 golf course measures 6,211 yards and is a fair test of golfing skill for any level of player. With regard to the course itself, the golf correspondent and Walker Cup player, Bernard Darwin (grandson of the naturalist Charles Darwin) described the course in 1923 as being divided into two classes, level holes at the top and hilly ones on the lower slopes and stated that: "...one admirable feature they have in common, they all have got beautiful greens".

 

 

Gerrards Cross Golf Club

The 18-hole golf course at Gerrards Cross Golf Club was built in 1922 in the grounds of an ancient estate. Gerrards Cross Golf Club is a testing woodland golf course in excellent condition and although there are one or two steep hills to negotiate, the walking is not too demanding. Beech and Oak trees characteristic of Buckinghamshire feature on many holes and the course is particularly attractive in spring and autumn. The wooded areas and the course support a variety of wildlife including muntjac deer and badgers. Hobbies and little owls have also been observed on the course. The golf course measures 6,212 yards and par of 69 provides a good test of golf, Gerrards Cross Golf Club demands and rewards accurate play.

 

 

Harewood Downs Golf Club

Richings Park Golf Club

Richings Park Golf Club is built in the park of a grand Eighteenth Century Country House. The course benefits from the many surviving old trees, which were carefully planted to create a fine setting for the original house. The Withy Brook flows through the grounds and this along with a number of lakes provides added interest. The par 70 18-hole golf course at Richings Park Golf Club has been laid out to make use of these very attractive features. It is a real challenge for the more accomplished golfer while the less experienced will still find it enjoyable.

 

 

Stoke Park Golf Club

Stoke Park Golf Club, known as Stoke Poges, was designed by Harry Shapland Colt. It was opened in July 1908 and received immediate acclaim: If there were no palatial mansion and no beautiful gardens and grounds, the course itself would take a great deal of beating anywhere within thirty miles of London. The exceptionally high quality of the greens, which have been consistently maintained, are a particular feature of the course. In November 2005 Golf World chose Stoke Poges Golf Club within the "Top 100 Courses in the World", a true 27-hole course is made up of the three nine ole courses Colt, Alison and Jackson.

 

 

Tattenhoe Golf Club
